Anna & Wojtek - October 21, 2006

For Anna & Wojtek's wedding I started my day with a quick visit at the groom's house:

Quick, because preparation at the bride's were already in progress when I arrived. There's nothing like kids in regional folk outfits:

The stunning bride:

...and moments before leaving the house for the ceremony:

My favorite shot of the day:

Kids at weddings - who can resist them ?

Did I mention kids are irresisitible ?

Anna & Wojtek - thank you for the opportunity to photograph your wedding and fun atmosphere throughout the entire day !

Tara & Mike - October 14, 2006

I was once asked how it is possible to photograph 90 weddings per season and stay fresh - when does it become a routine ? Well... it's of course all about people ! People are what makes it different and unique, each time:

Details are of course important, too:

...but it's people that deside about the 'flavor' and 'feel' of the entire wedding day:

The way they react to each other:

...and the way the simply ARE, alone and together:

..and the way they influence people around them:

Tara & Mike - thank you for a day full of emotion and positive feelings. It was a superb and unique experience !

Danielle & Marty - October 8, 2006

There is something unique and special about the atmosphere of preparations for a wedding day. An aura of anticipation hanging in the air, a feeling that you get when you know something special and good is coming. Although it is planned and expected - you still get as excited as it was the best christmas gift that you totally did not know you were supposed to get.

Danielle was not only looking good and being happy, she was running around and really enjoying her day to the fullest:

...together with her mom and the girls:

This session could have lasted for hours, if we only had that much time:

I was lucky to have Thomas Geist join me for this wedding as a second photographer. Here are two of his fantastic images:

Anna & Nick - October 7, 2006

The wedding day of Anna & Nick started with laughter:

And it also ended with it but that is a special story and I will tell it at the end of this post ! For now, let me introduce Vito, one of the bravest and well-spirited dogs I have met in my life. This poor guy has been fighting lymphoma for the past two years, but just look at his smile:

oooh... he deserves more than one photo on this blog:

Bridesmaids watching and assisting the bride getting ready:

Three portraits of the fabulous Anna:

...and her groom:

Having good time with the best man right before the ceremony and allowing me to capture priceless images like the one below:

The bride, just a few moments later and only seconds before she walked down the aisle:

The most important moment of the day ?

Bride and Groom's session in the church:

...and at Jersey's shore:

Nick hanging out in front of the reception hall:

Boys will be boys:

Some details:

I did say in the beginning there was more laughter coming up so here's the groom and his bunch trying to impress girls on the dancefloor, oh yes - there was laughter:

A closing image, shot towards the end of the day:

Anna & Nick ! You guys were fantastic ! I truly miss being there with you during the entire day and hope to see you soon !

Kristina & Ricardo - October 6, 2006

Tarrytown, NY was just as picturesque and beautiful on October 6 as it always is. Kristina and Ricardo's venue was located in one of my favorite towns of the entire Rockland County. For their wedding I was joined by my friend Thomas Geist - a talented photographer who was visiting all the way from Germany ! Here's some images that we created, starting with the bride getting ready:

Kristina:

Seeinmg each other for the first time:

A few images from the couple's session:

Among friends:

Two shots from the ceremony:

This image is among my favorite of the entire day, it was captured during the first dance:

Details from the reception:

During the reception we stepped out for a few night time images and this 'question mark' image was among what we created:

Kristina and Ricardo - thank you for a fun filled day from both Thomas and myself !

Adrienne and Chris - Spetember 30, 2006

I first met Adrienne and Christopher when I went to see them for the initial consultation in Abingdon, MD (hello future brides - yes, I travel for consultations !). Instantly - we 'clicked' and I had a feeling they would become my customers. My feeling was right! Soon, I was photographing the couple's engagement session:

Consequently, the fun atmosphere was present during the wedding day since the very first click of our cameras:

Not only the bride was happy and smiling since the first minutes of the day, so was the maid of honor:

(we'll come back to this vigorous girl named Jessica later on), in the meantime a detail shot:

Moment shared between Adrienne and her mother shortly before leaving for the ceremony:

Another adorable subject, the flowergirl:

From the bride's portrait session:

In the meantime the groom was all ready, waiting for his bride to arrive to the church:

Chris and his 'crew':

Some images captured during the pre-ceremony time and the ceremony:

I mentioned before that Jessica will have her special moment, here she is helping us get the best out of this bridal party:

Thank You, Jess ! You were great !
From the couple's session:

Portrait of Mr and Mrs Snyder captured by Violetta Krajewska, who was the second photographer for the day:

Reception room details:

Oh, and yes - those signature books really do get signed during weddings !

The happy couple entering the party of their lives, yes - you did it Chris !

Father of the bride delivering his speech:

and a few images from the dance floor:

The closing shot of the day, last dance:

Adrienne, Christopher, family and friends - Thank You for an unforgettable day and making us feel very welcome ! Working with you was an exceptionally good experience ! Can't wait to start designing the album !
